President's remarks - Todd - Thanks for coming. Advanced tickets for
Grounded Hogs Fundraiser
are due today. Bikerday at the State Capitol. Lake
Chapter usually has the most members attending.
Vice President's remarks - Jim - Thanks for coming and lets all attend
the Fundraiser and have a

State Rep Report - Gene - State Officer nominees for the Board of
Directors are: State Coordinator-Mack
Backlund, Assistant State
Coordinator-Kevin Todd, State Treasurer-Mitch Backlund, State Secretary-Mary
Berger, Trish Thiel, SW District Director-Val VanderWeyst, NE District
Director-Matt Collins, NW District
Director-Rob Thiel, SE District
Director-Henry Vrieze. Gerry Cizadlo resigned as Legislative Director and
Mack
appointed Todd Riba to replace him. BOD budget proposed and will be voted on in
April and
officers will be voted on at that time. Absentee ballots are

details on the budget. Ton Ernst discussed Precinct Caucasus which
will be held
on March 7, 2006 for choosing candidates and issues. Start thinking about
getting Rally
Sponsorships. State Rally budget approved. Contract with eh City
of Litchfield was extended through
s2010. $1.00 of each ticket sold to go to
Motorcycle Pac of Minnesota. Ticket prices will be raised
$5.00 across the
board, and no more couple discounts, overnight campers are raised from $15.00 to
$25.00. No more 70-30 split. Todd-we must be finished with this meeting by 4:45.
Make your
reservations now for ABATE U. Shad needs people for security for the
U. Turn in tickets by April 10
to get our $10.00 cut for the bike tickets.Recommendation for each chapter to create a position of
Gov. Relations was
accepted well. Sherry's raise did not pass. State products are available. Let

Motorcycle Riders Foundation Report - Todd - Has MRF brochures on
roadside assistance, and
has business cards, also has membership forms.
Government Relations Report - Mike -Wednesday, March 8 is Bikerday at the
State Capitol, we
have only one issue, check out website for issue info and bus
schedules.
State Coordinator-Mack-Our budget is open to review to everyone. All
monies are accounted for.
We have a CPA for our State Treasurer and we have
elected officials. Bikerday is the most important
thing you can do for
motorcycle rights. Contact me for reasons.
Presidents Committee on Improving Attendance - Popeye- Jim K-Maureen won
the discount for
products. Send out letters to prior members to encourage them
to re-join.
MN Safety Advisory Committee- Mike -deferred to next month due to time
issue.
Public Relations Report - Mitch - Washout will be 9:00 am to 12:00 noon
on May 6. MN Safety
Center is focusing on advance training. Course schedules are
available. Danny Kasper is in need of
$746.00 for Camp Courage this year.
Keith-Motion to use $746.00 from gambling funds to help
send Danny Kasper to
Camp Courage this year. 2nd-Lee. Voted-Passed-Hands.
Products Report - Keith - Has products. If you see something on the list
that Mack passed around
see me.
Special Events Report - Rosa-Grounded Hogs Fundraiser is set to go. Advanced
tickets are due
today. Need more door prizes. Gould Chevrolet has donated a van
for sober cab. Thanks.
Old Business: Adopt a highway sign cannot be changed to include website
address. Smiley's
wheelchair - original motion was for $350.00. Mike-Motion to
give Todd the ok to spend up to
$350.00 to secure a wheelchair for Smiley.
